Objectives

Under it's Constitution, the objects of the ADFA are:-

1. To encourage & promote the development of the Australian dried fruits industry.
2. To advance, promote & protect the interests of the Australian dried fruits industry, members, and of the Association as a corporate body, in all political, economic, legal & social matters & matters incidental thereto.
3. To encourage the adoption of best practice in the growing, processing & marketing of Australian dried fruits with the aim of maximising the profitability of the Australian dried fruits industry & its participants.
4. To make representations to or arrangements with any Government or authority, consistent with the objects of the Association.
5. To provide advice to members of the Association, Government & members of the public in all matters relating to the Australian dried fruits industry.
6. To hold or arrange meetings & conferences in order to determine the policy of the Association from time to time and in order to inform members & others on matters related to the Association’s objectives.
7. To subscribe to, become a member of, and co-operate with any other association or organisation, whose objects are altogether or in part similar to those of the Association.
